Pride Round 2023

2023 marks our 4th annual Pride Round and this year promises bigger & better than ever. As participants of the Community Challenge, our event this year is partially funded by ParticipACTION, which has allowed us to make our event even bigger and help us to support more 2SLGBTQIA+ businesses and organizations.

As an ally league, the purpose of our Pride Round is to personally show support for  our 2SLGBTQIA+ members as well as to help increase visbility, inclusion, and diversity in sport in general. As a proud member of Équipe Montréal (an organization grouping different 2SLGBTQIA+ and ally sports leagues), creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for all members is of the utmost importance. You can read more about our initiative and the importance of Pride rounds here.

Our Pride Round this year will be hosted at the Royal Vale school from 11am to 5pm on Sunday June 11th, 2023. It also coincides with the finals of our Typhoon Cup, which means there will definitely be some exciting games of footy for our spectators to enjoy!

The event will also include a BBQ, free intro to footy session, a non-contact game for all to join in on, and community games & competitions.
